Few Words about Nissan Juke-R

Insanity, it’s not just putting your cat into the washing machine, it covers all kinds of things, even vehicles. There are a lot of strange cars in the market nowadays but one of the most bizarre is the Nissan Juke-R.

What’s even more insane than the already nut-so GT-R? How about a compact crossover including the ultra-car’s drivetrain? This tiny Juke is blown along the road like a leaf in a hurricane-force wind. It’s enhanced by a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that generates 545 horsepower with 466 lb-ft of torque.

The goods are routed to all 4 wheels through a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that shifts faster than you can imagine. Those digits are good for a top speed of 170 miles per hour; the sprint from a standstill to 60 MPH takes just 3.0 sec.

Nissan representatives informed us that unlike its big brother the Juke-R is a bit livelier to drive. Thanks to a shorter wheelbase and a higher center of gravity it actually corners better and is more fun on top-speed turns… so we’ve been told.

The Juke-R is nuttier than a personal tour of Jeffrey Dahmer’s crawl space. What’s so astonishing about it is that it’s far from just a concept. They’re actually constructing up to 23 of them. If you want one you can actually get one, just for about $665,000. Unbelievably!
