BMW Group Sets Up Best April Worldwide Sales

The BMW Group, including BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce, has started its best April worldwide sales with a total of 155,419 cars delivered last month.

The profitable April, which was the growth of 6.8 % in deliveries, provided the BMW Group a new constant high of 603,619 cars delivered during the first 4 months of the year. BMW models rose 7.5 % to 130,598 last month in comparison to April 2012 while global MINI deliveries grew 3.3 %. The BMW Group is enjoying benefits thanks to high profits in the Asian and American stores.

Sales of the BMW X1 raised 14.8 % in comparison to last year, with 11,837 models sold in April. The 3 Series climbed 16 % in comparison to last year to 38,491 cars while the 3 Series Touring more than doubled with 104.6 % increase. A total of 512,000 BMW cars have been delivered to clients all over the world in 2013, the growth of 7.1 %.

Last month, MINI sold 24,581 models and its global sales raised 3.3 %.

China accounted for 30,311 sales last month while the Americas delivered 36,547 cars for the growth of 11.7 %. Europe made the contribution to the total with 69,957 cars.
