2014 Nissan Versa Note Returned Because of Bolt Issues
Nissan has announced a return for around 13,000 of its fresh 2014 Versa Note because of problems featuring seat and undercarriage bolts.
Nissan informs that the bolts used in the rear-seat back latch may not be reliable enough, and can break during the crash. Moreover, some of the bolts that join the body to the undercarriage may not be tight enough, or in sometimes may not have been equipped at all. This will compromise the cars rear-end crash safety during the crash.
Nissan informs that no damages or accidents have occurred as a result of these problems. Nissan dealers will examine affected cars and repair or replace the bolts as they see fit.
