2014 Hyundai Elantra Upgrade Uncovered

Hyundai has uncovered the refreshed 2014 Elantra in Korea, boasting a newly-upgraded front bumper, radiator grille, fog lights, and others.

Known as the Avante in the Korea, the 2014 Elantra also receives an LED light guide, projection headlights, and enhanced 17-inch wheels. In the rear is a fresh, 2-tone bumper and LED tail lights. On the inside, the Korean company has enhanced the Elantra with subtle features based on client feedback. The center air vent was placed upward while the front center armrest position has also been raised. Ventilation seats, a 3.5-inch OLED display, and rear seat air vents have also been added.

In comparison to the previous Elantra, the refreshed 2014 model is 20 mm longer, though its wheelbase stays untouched. To give it a more stable, balanced style, Hyundai broadened the front bumper 5 mm and the rear bumper 15 mm. Additionally the Korean market will receive the addition of a diesel version to the Elantra lineup with a 1.6-liter including 126 horsepower and 206 lb-ft of torque. The diesel model fitted with an automatic transmission also comes with Hyundai’s exclusive Idle Stop & Go technology.
