BMW has confirmed that the upcoming electric high-performance sedan will be badged simply as the M3, sharing the iconic nameplate with a future inline-six combustion sibling. The electric model will be based on the Neue Klasse platform, while the next-generation gas version is set to feature a twin-turbo inline-six engine.
