The first generation of the Wey V9X luxury SUV made its debut in spring 2026 at the Beijing Auto Show, defining a new flagship tier for Great Wall Motor's premium brand. Built on the company's dedicated intelligent electrified architecture, the large five-door SUV offers extensive cabin space and advanced equipment. The powertrain combines a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline internal combustion engine with a specialized multi-speed dedicated hybrid transmission and high-output electric motors powering all four wheels.

The system produces a combined output of 598 horsepower and 862 Nm of peak torque, allowing the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. The high-voltage battery system features fast-charging capabilities. Prior to commercial rollouts, the SUV completed intensive cold-weather durability testing over 30,000 km in conditions down to -35°C, confirming the resilience of its electrified drivetrain, thermal management, and chassis setup.
