Volkswagen Teramont II gallery (2025–present)

The second-generation Volkswagen Teramont, sold in China as the Teramont Pro, is a large MQB Evo crossover unveiled in February 2025.

The second-generation Volkswagen Teramont debuted in China on 17 February 2025 as the Teramont Pro (途昂 Pro), with sales starting the following month. It is assembled by the SAIC-Volkswagen joint venture in Ningbo. Built on the updated MQB Evo platform, the car grew noticeably over its predecessor: 5,158 mm long, 1,991 mm wide and 1,788 mm tall on a 2,980 mm wheelbase. In China the newcomer joined the existing Teramont in the line-up rather than replacing it outright, while North America received the same vehicle a year later as the 2027 Volkswagen Atlas.

Power comes from the fifth-generation EA888 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol four paired with a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch gearbox, with 4Motion all-wheel drive offered on upper trims. The cabin seats six or seven and has been completely redesigned around a digital instrument cluster and a large central infotainment display, with real wood trim, ambient lighting, Nappa leather and massaging front seats on higher grades. Driver assistance systems were expanded and a centre airbag was added between the front seats.
