The Volkswagen Multivan T5 was manufactured from 2003 to 2015, elevating passenger comfort and interior modularity.

The Volkswagen Multivan T5 launched in 2003 with a focus on interior versatility, refined aerodynamics, and passenger protection. It featured a floor-rail system allowing seamless repositioning of rear seats and a multifunctional center table. A major mid-cycle refresh in 2009 (T5.1 GP) updated the front-end styling and replaced older engines with Common Rail turbodiesels and DSG automatics.

Engine offerings initially comprised 2.0-liter four-cylinder and 3.2-liter VR6 gasoline units alongside 1.9 TDI and 2.5 TDI pump-injector diesels. Post-2009 models transitioned to 2.0 TSI gasoline and 2.0 TDI diesel engines, including a 180 hp BiTDI unit. Drive configurations included six-speed manuals, seven-speed DSG gearboxes, and 4Motion all-wheel drive using Haldex couplings.
