The Caravelle T5 was manufactured from 2003 to 2015, offering executive shuttle capabilities and family transport. The model featured electric sliding doors, multi-zone climate systems, and enhanced body rigidity. A 2009 update modernized the front styling and mechanical components.

Engine offerings shifted from 1.9/2.5 TDI turbodiesels to efficient 2.0 TDI Common Rail units, alongside 2.0 TSI and 3.2 VR6 gasoline engines. Gearbox options included manuals, Tiptronic automatics, and 7-speed DSG units with 4Motion AWD.
