Named after the Adriatic wind, it featured unique front styling with rectangular headlamps and fully galvanized steel panels. Body options were a four-door sedan and Bora Variant estate.

Engine options spanned 1.4 to 2.8 VR6 petrol engines alongside 1.9 TDI diesels, available with Haldex 4Motion all-wheel drive.
