The sixth-generation Toyota RAV4 (chassis code XA60) is built on an updated iteration of the TNGA-K platform, offering enhanced torsional rigidity, revised suspension mounting points, and substantially reduced NVH levels through acoustic glass. The five-door crossover maintains practical family proportions while adopting a more angular, muscular exterior with distinctive trim-specific styling packages, ranging from the rugged Woodland edition to the performance-tuned GR Sport.

Powertrain choices emphasize electrification, featuring updated 2.5-liter series-parallel hybrid setups producing up to 236 hp with all-wheel drive, alongside an advanced plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain producing 320 hp with extended all-electric range and DC fast-charging capabilities. Select international markets also retain an entry-level 2.0-liter naturally aspirated Dynamic Force petrol engine paired with a CVT.

Compared to the fifth generation, the XA60 features a completely overhauled digital cabin centered around a large touchscreen running Toyota's new software architecture. To create an uncluttered cockpit, developers eliminated the majority of traditional dashboard buttons, transferring HVAC fan speeds and settings into digital menus while keeping physical dials for essential temperature and volume controls.
