Toyota GR GT I gallery (2027–present)

The first generation of the Toyota GR GT supercar was engineered in direct parallel with the factory GR GT3 competition car destined for top-tier IMSA sports car racing. Factory racing drivers Tatsuya Kataoka and Jack Hawksworth led the dynamic development program, refining high-speed vehicle balance, structural rigidity, and track reliability. The sculpted two-door coupe bodywork prioritizes cooling efficiency and functional aerodynamic downforce.

Under the hood, the supercar features a newly developed 4.0-liter twin-turbo hybrid V8 powertrain engineered to deliver more than 640 horsepower. Output is routed through a rear-mounted transaxle eight-speed transmission equipped with a triple wet-clutch system for fast gear changes and optimal front-to-rear weight distribution. Customer deliveries are projected to begin in late 2027 under an exclusive allocation model.
