About this generation

Toyota Corolla Cross compact crossover (E210 series) constructed on the TNGA-C platform, positioning between the C-HR and RAV4.

The Toyota Corolla Cross compact crossover (E210 series) made its global premiere in Thailand in July 2020 before expanding across North American, Japanese, and European markets. Constructed on Toyota's modular TNGA-C platform, the vehicle offers a more spacious, conventional SUV alternative to the C-HR. The exterior presents a confident stance defined by a bold double-trapezoid front grille, black wheel-arch cladding, and sleek LED headlamps. The five-passenger cabin is fitted with a digital instrument cluster, up to a 10.5-inch infotainment touchscreen, panoramic glass roof, and a generous 487-liter rear cargo bay.

Regional powertrains include naturally aspirated gasoline options—a 1.8-liter 2ZR-FE (140 hp) or a 2.0-liter M20A-FKS Dynamic Force engine (169 hp) paired with a Direct Shift-CVT. Hybrid variants incorporate Toyota Hybrid System II, coupling a 1.8-liter or 2.0-liter engine with electric drive for up to 197 total system horsepower. Drive configurations span front-wheel drive and Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive (E-Four) with a dedicated rear electric motor. Standard safety features include Toyota Safety Sense 2.5.
