The Toyota bZ3X compact electric crossover has been produced by the GAC-Toyota joint venture in China since 2024.
The Toyota bZ3X electric crossover SUV debuted at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, developed jointly by Toyota and GAC for the Chinese market. Building upon the earlier bZ FlexSpace concept, the bZ3X targets young families with an emphasis on cabin volume, flat floor layout, and smart connectivity. Built on the e-TNGA electric platform, the vehicle features sleek aerodynamics, flush door handles, and a high-set LED lightbar.
Powertrains offer single-motor front-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive paired with high-density battery packs capable of driving ranges exceeding 600 km under CLTC testing. Interior equipment includes a large widescreen infotainment hub, AI-driven voice commands, and advanced driver assistance systems integrated with roof-mounted LiDAR technology developed with Momenta.
