6About this generation
First-generation Toyota bZ Woodland electric adventure SUV with 375-hp dual-motor AWD, 74.7-kWh battery, and expanded cargo space.
The first-generation 2026 Toyota bZ Woodland is a midsize all-electric adventure SUV designed to combine light off-road capability with zero-emission driving. Based on an updated evolution of Toyota's dedicated e-TNGA battery-electric platform, the Woodland is stretched 6 inches longer than the standard bZ crossover, measuring 190.2 inches in total length on a 112.2-inch wheelbase. This dimensional growth substantially expands interior practicality, providing between 33.3 and 33.8 cubic feet of cargo volume behind the second row and up to 74.3 cubic feet with the rear seats folded flat.
Motivation comes from a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain generating a combined 375 horsepower, which represents a 37-hp increase over the standard AWD bZ and yields a 0-60 mph acceleration time of approximately 4.4 seconds. Energy is supplied by a 74.7-kWh battery pack offering an EPA-estimated driving range of up to 281 miles with standard all-season tires, or 260 miles with optional all-terrain rubber. To support trail driving, the Woodland features 8.4 inches of ground clearance and an updated Subaru-engineered X-Mode traction control system with low-speed Grip Control for negotiating mud, loose gravel, and steep inclines.
Charging equipment includes an integrated Tesla-compatible NACS port, an included CCS adapter, and an upgraded 11-kW onboard AC charger, alongside DC fast-charging capability up to 150 kW. The cabin features a responsive 14.0-inch central touchscreen, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, dual wireless charging pads, and heated seats.
