Suzuki Hustler I (MR31S) gallery (2014–2019)

The first-generation Suzuki Hustler crossover-kei (MR31S) was produced from 2014 to 2019.

Launching in January 2014, the first-generation Suzuki Hustler (MR31S/MR41S chassis) created a sensation by introducing a crossover-styled vehicle into the Japanese kei category. Combining round retro headlights, vibrant two-tone paint, 180 mm of ground clearance, and a stain-resistant flexible cargo area, the Hustler won the 2015 RJC Car of the Year award in Japan.

Powered by the 660 cc R06A engine (52 hp naturally aspirated, 64 hp turbo), it featured Eene-Charge and later S-Eene-Charge mild-hybrid tech. Off-road features for 4WD models included Hill Descent Control and Grip Control traction modes paired with manual or CVT gearboxes.
