The Octavia I was the first Skoda designed under the Volkswagen Group on the PQ34 platform. The model was immediately popular for its massive trunk and balanced pricing. The lineup included naturally aspirated and turbocharged gasoline engines (including the iconic 1.8T) and efficient TDI diesels. Available as a liftback and estate, it earned a reputation as a reliable workhorse.
