Second generation, becoming a restyled version of the Nissan Patrol.
In the second generation, the Armada changed its platform, turning into a US-adapted Nissan Patrol Y62. The vehicle retained the powerful V8 engine, body-on-frame construction, and received a luxurious premium interior.
