The L200 VI (LC) vehicle generation was manufactured by Mitsubishi Motors from 2023 to present and offered in pickup truck body configurations.
The sixth-generation Mitsubishi L200 pickup (LC and MV chassis codes) debuted in Thailand in July 2023. Constructed on a newly engineered ladder frame providing 60% greater torsional rigidity, it introduced bold 'Beast Mode' boxy body styling with enlarged exterior dimensions. Engineering of the L200 VI (LC) (factory code LC) emphasized high structural rigidity, aerodynamic efficiency, and optimized interior spatial packaging. Built with reinforced body structures utilizing high-tensile steel alloys, the platform delivered reduced curb weight alongside improved occupant crash protection. The vehicle was distributed globally in multiple configuration packages designed to satisfy diverse market demands and regional regulatory specifications.
Power comes from a newly developed 2.4-liter 4N16 bi-turbodiesel engine producing up to 204 horsepower and 470 Nm of torque. Transmissions comprise 6-speed manuals and 6-speed automatics. The Super Select 4WD-II system offers seven drive modes alongside Active Yaw Control. The powertrain lineup incorporated efficient engine families paired with robust manual, automatic, or continuously variable transmissions depending on trim selection. Drivetrain engineering integrated advanced suspension tuning and traction management systems. Periodic mid-cycle cosmetic and technical updates refreshed front-end aesthetics, lighting technology, and cabin infotainment features, maintaining competitive positioning across international consumer segments throughout its production lifespan.
