The sixth-generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W206) was unveiled in February 2021, showcasing styling and technological solutions directly derived from the S-Class W223. Underpinned by the upgraded MRA II architecture, the body lineup focuses on the four-door sedan (W206) and five-door estate (S206), including the rugged C-Class All-Terrain variant featuring raised ride height and body cladding. Inside, the cabin is dominated by a central 11.9-inch portrait-oriented touchscreen running second-generation MBUX software, backed by an available augmented-reality head-up display.

Under the bonnet, the W206 exclusively utilizes four-cylinder turbocharged engines fitted with 48-volt Integrated Starter-Generator (ISG) mild-hybrid technology. Mild-hybrid gasoline (M254) and diesel (OM654M) models are complemented by C 300 e and C 400 e plug-in hybrids that offer over 100 kilometers of pure electric range via a 25.4 kWh battery pack. Performance variants include the AMG C 43 4MATIC (408 hp) and the plug-in hybrid AMG C 63 S E PERFORMANCE (680 hp system output), featuring Electric Exhaust Gas Turbochargers derived from Formula 1. Power is managed via a standard 9G-Tronic transmission and optional rear-axle steering.
