The fourth-generation Lexus LX flagship luxury SUV (chassis code J300) unveiled in October 2021 for the 2022 model year. Built on the GA-F body-on-frame platform shared with the Land Cruiser 300, frame rigidity increased by 20 percent while overall vehicle weight was reduced by 200 kg (440 lbs). The cabin introduced dual center touchscreens (12.3-inch and 7-inch), fingerprint authentication, and an ultra-luxurious 4-seat VIP executive lounge trim.

Powertrains shifted from V8s to twin-turbocharged V6s: a 3.4-liter gasoline V6 on LX 600 (409 hp) and a 3.3-liter twin-turbo diesel on LX 500d (304 hp), both mated to a 10-speed Direct Shift automatic transmission. In 2024, the LX 700h hybrid debuted with an i-FORCE MAX system delivering 457 total horsepower. Full-time 4WD, low-range gearing, and triple locking differentials preserve extreme off-road capability.
