The first generation of the Range Rover GT debuts for the 2027 model year, inaugurating an all-electric grand-touring segment for the British marque. The vehicle is engineered on JLR's dedicated Electrified Modular Architecture (EMA), optimized for battery-electric packaging. The five-door crossover-coupe body features a tapered roofline and aerodynamic surfaces aimed at maximizing highway efficiency and range while maintaining commanding road presence.

The first-generation powertrain is fully electric, featuring twin electric motors driving all four wheels through an intelligent torque management system. The vehicle carries a massive high-voltage battery pack designed to support substantial driving range between charges, alongside high-voltage architecture capable of rapid DC charging sessions during transcontinental journeys.

Inside, the cabin breaks away from the dominant industry trend of blanket touchscreen coverage across the dashboard. The interior configuration incorporates a slender digital driver display and a centrally mounted touchscreen positioned lower down in the console. Front passenger screens have been intentionally avoided based on usage data, creating a calm driving environment free of excessive visual and digital noise.
