About this generation

The global Kia Seltos compact crossover featuring a full-width LED light bar, optional AWD, and head-up display. The model combines proven engineering reliability, refined ergonomics, and great.

The Kia Seltos compact crossover (SP2) debuted in June 2019 in Delhi. Built on the K2 platform, it launched in short (SP2i: 4,315 mm long) and long (SP2/SP2c: 4,370-4,390 mm long; 2,630 mm wheelbase) body specifications. Exterior styling highlighted a swept-back LED light bridge across the Tiger Nose grille. This generation of the Seltos (SP2) was in production since 2019 and offered in внедорожник body styles. Built on an engineered platform, it features strong structural rigidity, refined aerodynamics, and advanced occupant safety engineering. The generous wheelbase and clever interior packaging ensure superior passenger accommodation and ergonomic comfort for long travel.

Engines range from 1.6L and 2.0L atmospheric petrol units to a 1.6L T-GDI turbo (177-198 hp) and 1.5L CRDi diesel, available in FWD or AWD. A 2022 facelift brought Star Map lighting, an 8-speed automatic, and a panoramic dual-screen dash. The powertrain lineup features modern engines optimized for thermal efficiency, balancing responsive acceleration with economical fuel consumption. Power is delivered through reliable manual or automatic transmissions. Mid-cycle updates introduced modernized LED lighting graphics, premium cabin materials, and enhanced active driver assistance suites.
