About this generation

The second generation of the flagship Kia K900 sedan with refined styling, HTRAC all-wheel drive, and Maurice Lacroix clock. The model combines proven engineering reliability, refined.

The second-generation Kia K900 luxury sedan (RJ) premiered at the New York International Auto Show in March 2018. Designed collaboratively by Kia's Namyang and Irvine studios, it was built on Genesis G90 architecture, stretching the wheelbase to 3,105 mm and overall length to 5,120 mm. The grille incorporated a Quadric Pattern with 176 jewel-like cells, anchored inside by Nappa leather, open-pore wood, and an analog Maurice Lacroix timepiece. This generation of the K900 (RJ) was in production since 2018 and offered in sedan body styles. Built on an engineered platform, it features strong structural rigidity, refined aerodynamics, and advanced occupant safety engineering.

Powertrains included a 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 (370 hp), a 3.8-liter V6 (315 hp), and a 5.0-liter Tau V8 (425 hp). An advanced electromechanical AWD system became standard in key markets. A 2021 facelift updated the model with slim horizontal headlights, a full-width rear light bar, a 14.5-inch touchscreen, and fingerprint recognition tech. The powertrain lineup features modern engines optimized for thermal efficiency, balancing responsive acceleration with economical fuel consumption. Power is delivered through reliable manual or automatic transmissions. Mid-cycle updates introduced modernized LED lighting graphics, premium cabin materials, and enhanced active driver assistance suites.
