The third generation of Isuzu F-Series medium-duty trucks was produced from 1994 to 2007 on an upgraded platform with a focus on ergonomics and environmental compliance. The vehicle received a completely new body featuring a streamlined cab design to reduce aerodynamic drag, along with improved interior soundproofing. The engine lineup included modern, fuel-efficient diesel powerplants of the 6HH1, 6HK1, and 6SD1 series meeting stricter emission standards, paired with manual and automatic transmissions. Key differences from the second generation included improved passive safety, a more comfortable driver workspace, and extended service intervals. During its lifecycle, the model underwent a scheduled facelift in the early 2000s affecting lighting and bumpers. The trucks were widely distributed in Japan, North America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, serving a broad variety of commercial transport applications.
