Isuzu F-Series II (gen2) gallery (1985–1994)

The second generation of Isuzu F-Series medium-duty trucks was manufactured from 1985 to 1994 on an updated ladder-frame platform focused on increasing payload capacity and driver comfort. The vehicle received a more angular aerodynamic cab design that improved visibility and reduced fuel consumption compared to its predecessor. The engine lineup consisted of reliable diesel powerplants, including the 6BD1 and 6HE1 series with and without turbocharging, paired with manual or automatic transmissions. Compared to the first generation, the frame was significantly reinforced, the suspension was improved, and the reliability of the braking system was enhanced. During its production run, the model underwent minor facelifts affecting the grille and interior. The primary markets were Japan, Asian countries, North America, and Australia, where these trucks earned a strong reputation for durability and low maintenance.
