The second-generation Hyundai Solaris (HCR) sedan ran from 2017 to 2024 featuring enhanced high-speed suspension stability.
The second-generation Hyundai Solaris (HCR chassis) debuted in February 2017 in Saint Petersburg. Designed exclusively as a 4-door sedan, it introduced a cascading front grille and a 30 mm longer wheelbase (2,600 mm). Rear suspension geometry was redesigned to improve high-speed directional tracking.
Powertrains included a 1.4-liter Kappa (100 hp) and a 1.6-liter Gamma engine (123 hp) paired with 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmissions. A 2020 facelift introduced a mesh black grille, full-LED headlights, power-folding side mirrors, and updated infotainment touchscreen displays.
