The second-generation Hyundai Palisade (LX3) features a bold boxy exterior, a new 2.5T turbo engine, an efficient 329 hp hybrid powertrain, and an ultra-luxurious High Roof executive variant.
The second-generation Hyundai Palisade (chassis code LX3) is built on the upgraded Hyundai-Kia N3 platform, offering improved structural rigidity, enhanced sound insulation, and an extended wheelbase over its predecessor. The crossover adopts a completely redesigned, upright and angular exterior styling with prominent vertical LED lighting signatures. Alongside the standard five-door SUV body style, the lineup introduces an ultra-luxury High Roof variant that adds 240 mm in roof height (reaching 2,005 mm), featuring a 21.4-inch rear entertainment display, Rolls-Royce-inspired Starlight ceiling illumination, and executive VIP rear seating.
The powertrain lineup has been thoroughly modernized, replacing the previous generation's naturally aspirated V6 and diesel engines with advanced four-cylinder units. The entry powertrain is a 2.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 277 hp paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It is complemented by a 329 hp turbocharged hybrid system featuring a 2.5T engine, an electric motor, and a six-speed automatic transmission. Both powertrains are available with front-wheel drive or the HTRAC all-wheel-drive system.
