Hyundai Nexo I (FE) gallery (2018–present)

The Hyundai Nexo (FE) hydrogen fuel-cell crossover entered production in 2018 as Hyundai's technological flagship for zero-emission FCEV mobility.

The Hyundai Nexo (FE platform) premiered at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in January 2018. Designed from the ground up as a dedicated hydrogen fuel-cell electric vehicle (FCEV), the Nexo succeeded the Tucson/ix35 Fuel Cell. Its lightweight structure incorporates carbon-fiber reinforced plastics and aerodynamic air-curtain vents.

The second-generation FCEV system pairs a 95 kW fuel-cell stack with a 161 hp electric motor. Three high-pressure hydrogen tanks store 6.33 kg of hydrogen at 700 bar, enabling a full refuel in under 5 minutes and a driving range of up to 666 km (WLTP). The cabin features dual digital widescreen displays and eco-friendly bio-materials.
