Dodge Viper I (SR) gallery (1991–2002)
An extreme sports car created without compromises or modern driver-assistance systems.
The first-generation Viper was developed as a modern interpretation of the classic Shelby Cobra. Equipped with a massive 8.0-liter V10, the car offered incredible power sent to the rear axle without ABS or traction control. A minimalist interior, the absence of exterior door handles, and a raw character made the Viper a legend among enthusiasts. It was a 'driver's car' that required skill and respect, setting new performance standards for American sports cars.
