The second-generation Stratus became more powerful and technologically advanced. The sedan received a refreshed design that aligned with new brand standards, as well as more powerful V6 engines for top trims. Notably, the Stratus coupe was technically a completely different car, built in partnership with Mitsubishi, giving it a distinct sporty character. Overall, this generation solidified the model's reputation as versatile and reliable family transport.
