The Grand Caravan was created for those who found the standard minivan wheelbase insufficient. Increased body length allowed for significantly expanded cargo space and interior volume, while retaining all the handling benefits of the standard Caravan. This version became incredibly popular among large families and commercial customers, as it offered a unique blend of capacity and maneuverability, laying the foundation for the success of the Grand Caravan line for decades to come.
