About this generation

An enlarged SUV with a more modern design and improved comfort.

The second-generation Durango grew significantly in size, becoming a full-fledged three-row SUV. Despite the larger dimensions, the model retained powerful engines and a body-on-frame construction, providing excellent towing and off-road capability. During this period, Dodge actively introduced new safety technologies and multimedia systems, making the Durango more comfortable for long family trips, while not forgetting the model's traditional power and confidence on any road surface.
