The third-generation Buick Verano, marketed as the Verano Pro, was launched by SAIC-GM in late 2021 and remains in active production. Available in standard and sport-oriented Verano Pro GS trims, the sedan is built on an updated architecture with enhanced structural rigidity and lower curb weight. Under the hood, it features GM's eighth-generation 1.5-liter direct-injected turbocharged four-cylinder Ecotec gasoline engine producing 184 hp and 250 Nm of torque, paired with a chain-driven continuously variable transmission (CVT). The interior showcases a modern dual-screen cockpit comprising two integrated 10.25-inch digital displays running the Buick eConnect operating system with over-the-air updates and smartphone integration.
