Buick Verano II gallery (2015–2021)

The second-generation Buick Verano (marketed as Wei Lang in China) was introduced in 2015 by SAIC-GM and produced until 2021. Engineered on General Motors' global D2XX modular platform, it was sold alongside the Opel Astra K relative and offered as a four-door sedan and a five-door hatchback known as the Verano GS. Initially, the car was equipped with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine generating 118 hp paired with a six-speed automatic, alongside a 1.5-liter turbocharged SIDI four-cylinder producing 169 hp mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. In late 2019, the model received a comprehensive mid-cycle facelift featuring redesigned front and rear styling, upgraded interior electronics, and new turbocharged engines: a 1.0-liter three-cylinder with 125 hp and a 1.3-liter three-cylinder producing 165 hp paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
