Unveiled in 2004, the E60 M5 sedan and E61 M5 Touring delivered motorsport technology straight to public roads. At its heart was the legendary S85 5.0-liter atmospheric V10 engine, screaming up to an intoxicating 8,250 rpm and producing 507 horsepower.

Paired with the 7-speed SMG III sequential gearbox and adjustable EDC suspension, the E60 was capable of supercar performance at the push of the 'M' button. Its distinctive F1-inspired exhaust howl remains legendary among car enthusiasts worldwide.
