The second-generation iX3 was revealed in September 2025 as the first series-production car of the Neue Klasse family. Unlike its predecessor it no longer shares a platform with the petrol X3: underneath is a dedicated electric architecture with 800V electrics and sixth-generation cylindrical cells. It is built at the new plant in Debrecen, Hungary, with a long-wheelbase NA6 version for China.

Twin motors produce 463 hp and 645 Nm, a 113.4 kWh battery delivers 805 km WLTP, and 400 kW charging restores hundreds of kilometres in minutes. The cabin is built around iDrive X: a 17.9-inch central display, a 3D head-up display and the full-width Panoramic Vision projection. The car has grown to 4,780 mm long.
