5About this generation
First generation of the Avatr T09 flagship SUV, introducing a 1,000-hp extended-range hybrid architecture, six-seat interior, and a 71.24-kWh CATL Freevoy battery.
The first generation of the Avatr T09 establishes the manufacturer's Flagship line, adopting a commanding three-row SUV layout measuring 17.1 feet in length and 6.6 feet in width. Developed jointly with Changan, CATL, and Huawei, the model debuts the Vision Xpectra design language. Contrasting with the fastback profiles of the brand's digital series models, the T09 utilizes a prominent upright silhouette targeted at competing against luxury benchmark models including the Mercedes-Benz GLS and BMW X7.
Inside, the cabin features a six-passenger 2+2+2 configuration with individual captain chairs across all three rows. The cockpit is characterized by a pillar-to-pillar screen assembly composed of a 10.25-inch instrument cluster set between dual 17.2-inch infotainment and passenger screens. Vehicle management and software operations are driven by Huawei computing architecture.
The SUV is powered by an all-wheel-drive extended-range hybrid powertrain rated at more than 1,000 horsepower. A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine rated at 208 hp operates purely as a range extender, recharging a 71.24-kWh CATL Freevoy battery pack. Motive power is delivered by three electric motors: a 241-hp front unit and twin 302-hp rear units. According to regulatory certification filings, the pure electric driving range spans 186 to 205 miles under the CLTC test standard, with a top speed of 137 mph.
