Luxury electric and range-extended coupe crossover built on the joint CHN platform developed by Changan, CATL, and Huawei.
Launched in 2022 as the debut model of the brand, the Avatr 11 is a premium mid-size coupe crossover developed through the CHN alliance combining Changan Automobile, battery manufacturer CATL, and technology leader Huawei. Styled under the direction of former BMW designer Nader Faghihzadeh, the vehicle features a distinctive fastback silhouette, razor-thin split LED lights, frameless doors, and an unconventional vertical rear window set into the trunk lid. The opulent interior presents a three-screen dashboard layout powered by Huawei HarmonyOS, ambient lighting, and available executive four-seat seating. Autonomous driving capabilities are driven by Huawei's driver assist suite utilizing three LiDAR sensors for high-precision navigation. Initially available exclusively as a battery electric vehicle (BEV) built on an 800V architecture, the Avatr 11 offers single-motor RWD (313 hp) and dual-motor AWD (578 hp) options paired with CATL cell-to-pack batteries up to 116 kWh. In 2024, a range-extended EREV version was added to the lineup featuring a 1.5-liter gasoline generator, expanding overall driving range. The Avatr 11 competes directly with high-end electric luxury crossovers on global markets.
