Released in 2024 under the E15 development code, the Avatr 07 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV positioned directly below the Avatr 11. Built on the modular CHN platform, the 07 incorporates the brand's signature design language featuring C-shaped LED lighting signatures, smooth body surfaces, flush door handles, and optional digital side mirrors. The interior houses a 35.4-inch continuous display band spanning the dashboard, paired with a central 15.6-inch Huawei HarmonyOS touchscreen and a 25-speaker immersive audio system. The Avatr 07 debuted the brand's proprietary Kunlun EREV range-extender system alongside pure electric BEV choices. Pure electric models feature rear-wheel drive (343 hp) or dual-motor all-wheel drive (598 hp) powered by an 82 kWh CATL battery. The EREV variant pairs a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline generator with an electric drive motor and a 39 kWh battery, granting 230 km of pure electric range and over 1,100 km total range. Equipped with Huawei Qiankun ADS 3.0 LiDAR autonomous driving hardware, the Avatr 07 directly competes with premium electric SUVs worldwide, offering exceptional digital refinement. The vehicle represents a milestone in the joint venture between Changan, CATL, and Huawei.
