Unveiled in December 2020 as a 2022 model year release, the fourth-generation Acura MDX (YD7 chassis) transitioned to an all-new light-truck platform designed for enhanced rigidity and athletic proportion. Key chassis innovations included a double-wishbone front suspension setup paired with a multi-link rear axle. The interior highlighted Acura's Precision Cockpit digital instrument panel, a 12.3-inch infotainment display managed by the True Touchpad Interface, and an optional 25-speaker ELS Studio 3D audio system.
