2017 S90 from Volvo was caught during its Testing

For the first time! The innovated 2017 Volvo S90 has been spied during testing by paparazzi.

We expect the same options for the heart of the vehicle, the motor, as in the bigger XC90. These two models ride on the same platform. Therefore, the innovated full-size sedan will be equipped with a 2.0-litre V4 supercharged and turbocharged engine. This one is able to produce 316 hp and torque of 295 lb-ft. It is joined to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

The modernized option for engine will include a plug-in hybrid set which is going to use the identical engine. There will be an electric motor with 60 hp. In combination, the vehicle’s output will stand at nearly 400 hp. The model is supposed to come with a fully-electric driving range of nearly 20 miles.

The car’s exterior and interior will be significantly influenced by the latest XC90 SUV. Therefore, expect the new Thor’s Hammer headlamps and a huge touchscreen display in the centre stack.

The offering under consideration will be presented at next year’s Auto Show in Detroit which will be held in January.
