Toyota Streamlines Land Cruiser Trim Structure for 2025

Toyota has made some changes to its lineup, including simplifying the trim structure of the Land Cruiser for the 2025 model. The starting price for the 2025 Land Cruiser is now $57,900, including the destination fee, representing a $555 increase from last year.

Trim Structure

For the 2025 model, the First Edition trim has been discontinued, and buyers can opt for either the 1958 trim or the standard Land Cruiser trim. The 1958 trim features a retro design with rounded LED headlights and a heritage grille on the front end. It also includes an 8.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The standard Land Cruiser trim offers slim rectangular LED headlights, faux leather seats, and two 12.3-inch screens as standard.

Upgrades and Options

While the Land Cruiser remains mostly unchanged, there are a couple of upgrades for the 2025 model. Toyota now offers an integrated liftgate, making the cargo area more visible at night. Additionally, there is a new monotone Heritage Blue paint option available for the standard Land Cruiser trim. Buyers can also opt for the Premium package, which includes features such as 20-inch wheels, a 14-speaker JBL audio system, a head-up display, and wireless charging, among others, for an additional cost of $5,840.

Powertrain and Fuel Efficiency

Both versions of the 2025 Land Cruiser come equipped with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder I-Force Max hybrid powertrain, producing 326 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. They also feature standard four-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. With its hybrid powertrain, the Land Cruiser achieves a combined fuel efficiency of up to 23 miles per gallon.

Availability

The 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser will be available at dealerships starting later this fall.
