Rezvani Introduces Retro-Inspired 911 Models That Eclipse Traditional Porsches
Rezvani, a California-based automaker renowned for its striking supercars and military-grade SUVs, has been making waves for over a decade. Recently, the company has pivoted towards creating retro-styled Porsche models, unveiling two standout versions inspired by the classic 935: the RR1 600 and RR1 750.
Performance Specifications
The numbering of these models signifies their power outputs. Both the RR1 600 and RR1 750 are built on the 992-generation Porsche 911 platform and feature sleek carbon-fiber bodies with a nostalgic design flair.
RR1 600
Equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter flat-six engine, the RR1 600 boasts enhanced turbochargers and additional modifications that Rezvani has not fully disclosed. This configuration allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in a brisk 3.0 seconds.
RR1 750
The RR1 750 variant takes performance a step further, based on the 911 Turbo S model. It houses a more potent 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine generating 750 horsepower. Thanks to its all-wheel-drive system and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, the RR1 750 can reach 60 mph in an astonishing 2.0 seconds. Additionally, buyers have the option to enhance track performance with Ohlins TTX-Pro coilover suspension.
Production and Pricing
Rezvani plans to produce only 50 units of each model, with each car requiring approximately four months to build. The base price is set at $195,000, not including the necessary 992-generation 911 donor vehicle, which must be provided by the purchaser.
Customization Options
Customization comes at a premium cost. For example, center-lock wheels are available for $12,500, carbon-fiber wheel covers for $4,500, and upgraded track suspension for $8,500. Additional enhancements include an intercooler and an auxiliary radiator, each priced at $3,500, as well as upgraded Brembo brakes costing as much as the wheels themselves. These options highlight the bespoke nature of Rezvani’s offerings.
