Versa Note from Nissan Proves to be Aggressive at Chicago Debut
Throwing in a couple of sporty details here and there turned a standard Versa Note into an SR presented in Chicago.
The first look at Versa Note SR revealed a new dash board and redesigned grille. The quality of light has also changed with the addition of dark headlamps and fog lamps with chrome adorning. The sides of the car feature some alterations: new side mirrors with turn signals and spoilers matching the body in shade. The minicar was also equipped with a new spoiler on the rear side and got wheel caps finished in black.
Smoother touch is now inherent to the steering wheel with its leather upholstery and pleasant sensations are guaranteed by seats wrapped in a fabric resembling suede with bright colouration. Central dash board also experienced some renovations mostly implying metallic insertions.
The engine option supports the best minicar traditions holding a capacity of 1.6 litres on V4 and producing modest 109 hp. Continuously variable transmission paired to that allows Versa Note SR spend 31 mpg within the city limits and 9 mpg more on the public road.
