Apple CarPlay for 2017 Maxima from Nissan

The next year’s Maxima from Nissan costs $100 more than the model from 2015. A starting MSRP kicks off from $33,395.

The producer added the Apple CarPlay that is accessed via the regular Nissan Connect infotainment set-up and 8-inch touch-screen. Besides, the offering boasts 2 new appearance packs.

The new Medallion Pack spreads on a spoiler, light-up sill plates, interior accent and exterior ground lighting and 18-inch wheels. There is also option of the Dynamic pack in which all features of the Medallion Pack were preserved. It’s just the exterior ground lighting that was changed to side rocker mouldings. The price for the packages has not been announced yet.

The luxury Maxima SV kicks off starting from $35,375. Meanwhile the mid-range Maxima SL will cost $40,825.

In such a way, the Maxima costs almost the same as the Avalon from Toyota.

All Maxima offerings feature a 3.5-litre six-cylinder engine generating 300 hp. The engine is matched to a CVT.
