Ferrari showed a racing car with a 700 "horsepower" engine
Ferrari has unveiled a particular version of the Ferrari 488 supercar, designed for driving on the track.
Carscoops writes that the two-door car has a GT Modificata prefix to the name, and only members of the Ferrari Competizioni GT club can buy it. By the way, members of this community compete on different world tracks (like Monza and Nürburgring) without any special restrictions from the FIA regulations.
The 700-horsepower Ferrari 488 has a body made of almost one hundred percent carbon fiber. The car had a steel roll cage, bucket seats, and 6-point seat belts.
The driver gets at his disposal a rear camera, tire pressure sensors, a unique V-Box measuring complex, as well as Bosch telemetry. The supercar has a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 petrol with 700 hp. Customers also can order gearboxes with different gear ratios, plus the car is equipped with Brembo brakes.
