Ferrari May Soon Introduce a Convertible Version of Its Latest Sports Car
- Ferrari is reportedly preparing to unveil the Amalfi Spider, a new convertible variant.
- The launch could take place in early March.
- The Spider will be powered by the identical twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 engine found in the coupe.
Ferrari is said to be gearing up for the debut of the Amalfi Spider, a convertible version of its recently introduced Amalfi coupe, potentially arriving in the first half of March. The coupe was unveiled last summer as the successor to the Roma, which also offered a Spider variant.
According to reports from The Supercar Blog, the Spider will carry over the design language of the coupe while incorporating Ferrari’s latest brake-by-wire technology.
The convertible will be equipped with the same powertrain as the hardtop model—a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine delivering 631 horsepower and 561 lb-ft of torque. Performance figures suggest the Spider will sprint from 0 to 62 mph in approximately 3.3 seconds, mirroring the coupe’s acceleration.
Ferrari’s product roadmap for this year includes five new models, with the electric Luce set for release in May. The Amalfi Spider is expected to be among the remaining launches as the brand continues its plan to introduce 20 new vehicles by 2030.
With less than a year left in 2026, Ferrari is on pace to roll out a new car roughly every couple of months. The replacement for the Roma Spider is highly anticipated, and the Amalfi Spider could be a significant part of this lineup expansion.
