Active Tourer from BMW Caught the Attention at Arctic Circle Test Drive
Development stage is still in progress for 2-Series Active Tourer from BMW, as a spy camera caught the car conditioning itself to the cold in the Arctic Circle region.
Although this time the disguise was heavy, pictures that had leaked before featured a closer undisguised look and allowed to conclude that the minivan will borrow a lot from the concept of the same name which was presented in Paris two years ago.
BMW has not shared much specifics of the car yet, but it is already known that the chosen platform is front-wheel drive resembling that of MINI Cooper.
Engine range is also a subject to uncertainty. The assumptions include a turbo solution for 1.5 litres and V3. Earlier the brand announced that petrol engines will embrace the powertrain options in the range of 122 – 224 hp and diesel ones – in 82 – 184 hp range, correspondingly.
