Toyota intends to oblige the brand Lexus to make luxury yachts. The first novelty will go on sale next year.

Vice-president of the company Shigeki Tomoyama told that the yacht will be developed on behalf of the marine division of Toyota, as well as the shipbuilding company Marquis-Larson Boat Group.
Most likely, the company will have a ship with an open area on the roof of the wheelhouse, as well as a luxurious cabin, which will be located on the lower deck, where they can easily accommodate a maximum of 15 guests.
The basis of the new yacht will be a prototype Lexus Sport Yacht 2017. This concept is a 13-meter sports cruiser with a body of carbon fiber. This material was made by the method of vacuum infusion, at the same time using a 2-component polyurethane resin. The yacht received a power unit in the form of a pair of improved 5.0-liter V8 from the sports coupe LC 500 with a total power of 897 hp.
